Eric
Lutzo is the founder and principle of Forward Thought, a
coaching and leadership development practice that specializes in
developing the "becoming" leader. Forward Thougth’s target
markets is the midsize manufacturing and financial institutions
as well as a variety of non-profit and start up organizations.
Eric formed Forward Thought in January of 2000 after working in
the corporate sector for 10 years. Eric earned his Masters of
Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University’s
Weatherhead School of Management and his Bachelors in Business
Administration from Kent State University. The company’s core
was designed to bring Eric’s strengths in Coaching, Leadership
Development and strategic planning to best meet the needs of the
marketplace.
Eric has worked for Top 100 organizations such as Pillsbury,
Citibank and American Power Conversion (APC). He also has a very
strong middle market mix with such firms as Ohio Savings bank,
The Cleveland Clinic and The Taj Group of Hotels and Cuyahoga
Community College. In addition, he has applied his skills to
web-based organizations and other start -ups like tremont.org
and Prytania Design, North Cost Dogs and Damar Staffing
Solution. In all of his assignments Eric has helped senior
management take what could be and make it a reality by
developing strategic objectives for both the individual and the
organization.
Through Forward Thought Eric has been able to
coach top executives, managers and associates through the change
process.
In his free time you can find Eric working with a variety of
non-profit and government organizations such as the Cleveland
Kennel, Animal Foundation of Cleveland, The APL, American Heart
Association, Cleveland Professional Network, Organization
Development Connection and the Weatherhead Alumni Association.
Eric believes a strong mind is only as strong as the body in
which it resides. As a result he is an avid runner and cyclist
for charitable organizations across northeastern Ohio. He is
also a strong believer in quality down time and finds time to
escape both within as well as outside the US. He has circled the
world and enjoys taking his travel experiences and applying them
to practice.
Eric’s Practice and life seemingly blend together. However,
this biography would not be complete without the mention of
Maxum and Jean Claude is faithful canine companions as well as
three very unique feline friends. Some of Eric’s most intense
learning’s have come from the unconditional love shared by an
animal. |
